The Waterfront Urban Park

The park is situated in Humboldt, beside the golf club access road, north of the Water Ridge Estates. Work is progressing with a completion goal of 2005 to celebrate the Centennial of Humboldt. The ground work in completed on the west side, with grass seeded in the fall of 2003 and 100 trees moved in in the fall of 2004. Pathways are roughed in with crusher dust and many trees have been planted. We are looking forward to spring to keep working on the park.

Volunteers are needed to work and for the steering committee, as well as fundraising dollars to complete this worthwhile project.
There are several major projects to be added; a band stand, gazebo, picnic shelter, benches, paving stone walkways, lights etc. We will accept memorial donations as well as corporate donations, tax receipts will be issued.
